About Ross Montgomery

Ross’ debut book for children, Alex, the Dog and the Unopenable Door, was nominated for the Costa Children's Book of the Year and the Branford Boase Award. His second book, The Tornado Chasers, and his third, Perijee and Me, have attracted great reviews and a growing fanbase. He then published his first picture book for younger readers, The Building Boy. Christmas Dinner of Souls is a deliciously spooky treat, and his latest, Max and the Millions is a fun adventure, full of friendship and excitement. Ross has worked as a primary school teacher and is fully experienced teaching classes of children from age 3 to age 12. He has done public readings, workshops, school visits, book groups: from small discussions to whole school assemblies and festivals.
