Springwell's governing body has the responsibility for supporting the school and holding it to account. All governors share the school's aims and values and are committed to ensuring that the school has the necessary resources and strategic direction to ensure that every child receives the best possible education.

The governing body works closely with the headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to ensure that the school is well run and led. There are ten governors who represent our wider school community and offer a wide mix of skills, experience and backgrounds.

The full governing body meets formally once a term. In addition there are sub-committees that also meet regularly to focus on particular areas in more detail. Governors make regular visits to the school to see it in action, speaking to staff and children and attending school events and celebrations.

Contact: the Chair of Governors can be contacted by post or email C/O the school office (office@springwell.hounslow.sch.uk)
